Nancy J. Shea

Nancy J. (Gargan) Shea, 79, of Syracuse, passed away Thursday at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Born in Syracuse, she was a life resident. Nancy retired from Bonton after 22 years. Predeceased by her first husband, Anthony Gargan in 1981.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Francis Shea; three daughters, Patty ( Dan) Dougher and Debbie Gargan, both of Cicero, and Michele Gargan(Scott) of Liverpool; son, Mike (Nell) Gargan of Syracuse; two stepdaughters, Colleen (Dennis) Craighton of Newark, DE and MaryBeth (Fran) Ehart of New Castle, DE; stepson, Michael Francis Shea of VA; sister, Sarah Trinca of Auburn; sister-in-law, Carm (Tom) LaRochelle of Cicero; her beloved dog, Toby; 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 7 step grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday 9:30 a.m. at FARONE & SON FUNERAL HOME and 10 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery.

Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home, 1500 Park Street.
