

Pasquale Federico, 83, of Syracuse, passed away Thursday at University Hospital after a short illness. Born in Introdacqua Abbruzzo, Italy, he arrived in the U.S. in 1946 and lived in Boston for ten years before moving to Syracuse. Pasquale retired after 42 years in the auto body business and was Co-founder of Federico’s Auto Body along with his son Joe. A communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church, he was also a member of Progresso Lodge Sons of Italy.
Pasquale is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Delfina (Guarino) Federico; two sons, Joseph (Diane) Federico of Jamesville and Patrick (Donna) Federico of East Syracuse; sister, Lidia DeSantis of Boston, MA; brother, Carmine (Josephine) Federico of Liverpool; four grandchildren, Nicole (Mark) Furbush of Boston, MA, Dr. Danielle Federico of Hartford, CT and Nicholas and Joseph Federico of East Syracuse; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday 9:45 a.m. at FARONE & SON FUNERAL HOME and 10:30 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.
Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at the funeral home, 1500 Park Street, Syracuse.
