

Patrick Caruso, 95, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Wednesday. He retired from the New York Central Railroad, where he was employed for more than 30 years. He was a communicant and a parishioner for more than 30 years at St. John the Baptist Church. A veteran of WWII, Patrick was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross. Patrick lived for his family and loved them abundantly and selflessly. This will be his legacy. Predeceased by his wife of 52 years, Agnes; parents, Angelo and Angela Caruso; siblings, Jen Chimber, Santa Pisto, and Joseph Caruso; and great-grandson, Colin Domanico.
Patrick is survived by his son, Patrick (Patricia) of Connecticut; his daughter, Kathleen (Alex) Corsello of North Syracuse; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday 11:15 a.m. at FARONE & SON FUNERAL HOME and 12 noon in Sacred Heart Church, Cicero.
Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery.
