Peter J. Vercillo, 72, of Syracuse, passed away Thursday at home. He managed several local bowling alleys and most recently worked at Scotsman Press. Mr. Vercillo served in the Marine Corp Reserves. He was predeceased by his father, Tony Vercillo in 1991.
Peter is survived by his loving wife, Lynda (Hillegus) Vercillo; children, Wendy Vercillo of Florida, Mickey (Cindy) Vercillo, Kelly (Eddie) Vickers, and Melissa Vercillo; his mother, Anne Vercillo; sister, Angela “Sister” (Frank) Tarnacki; his former wife, Sandra Caruth Vercillo; eight grandchildren and two nieces.
Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4-7 p.m. with funeral services to follow at FARONE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Park Street, Syracuse.
