Robert F. White, 71, of Syracuse, passed away Tuesday at his home surrounded by his family. Born in Wilkes Barre, PA, he resided in Syracuse for 46 years. Robert retired as an ER Tech from Community General Hospital after 27 years. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served his country during the Vietnam War. Robert enjoyed his grandkids and spending time with his family.
He was predeceased by his parents, Chester and Ethel White; and sister, Thelma.
Survivors include his loving wife of 48 years, Lillie White; children, David (Detris) Crane of TN, Carmen White and Mildred (Eddie, Jr.) Williams, both of Syracuse, and Alfredia White of FL; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews, and a host of family and friends.
Calling hours: Wednesday 10 a.m. to 12 noon with funeral services to follow at noon at Ephesus Church, 614 Tallman Street.
Burial in Onondaga Veterans Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
