Theresa Ann Stephen

Mrs. Theresa Ann Stephen was, born May 15, 1962 in Syracuse, NY and passed away Friday. Theresa a lifelong resident of Syracuse and attended St. Lucy’s Parochial School. She was a graduate of George W. Fowler High School and attended Strafford School of business where she completed an Associate’s Degree in Business. She was immediately hired and was employed with the Central New York Regional Planning and Development Board. She began her 25 years career as a Word Processor and worked diligently to become their Financial Administrative Assistant. She was also employed for 10 of those years as a sales representative with Page West. Theresa balanced work and devoting her life to raising her two children and caring for her grandson. Theresa was an avid reader and enjoyed shopping trips and visiting the casino.

Mrs. Theresa Stephen leaves to mourn in her passing, cherishing her memory and celebrating her life, her mother, Mae Wiggins; her father, Lonnie C. McGlown; her husband, Major Stephen; two children, Major M. Stephen and Terria L. M. Stephen; one sister, Jacqueline Brown; two brothers, Lonnie McGlown and Wayne McGlown; grandchildren, Malik A. M. Stephen and Trinity M. Stephen; paternal grandmother, Vera M. Black; and a host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Calling hours: Wednesday 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. with funeral services to follow at 12 p.m. at Four Squares C.O.G.I.C Church, 218 Webster Ave, Syracuse.

Burial in Oakwood Cemetery.
