I knew Tom through waiting on him for the past several years at Kosta's Bar and Grill. I am so sorry.  Words escape me right now.  This is so heartbreaking.  
I have been lucky to be a part of the Kristoff cousins.  My childhood and teenage years were enriched by the many times I was able to spend with Tommy. I loved going to Manning Drive to spend my time running around outside (and inside).  The best Thanksgiving I ever remember was spent at my Aunt Delores, Uncle Loz, Karen, Tom, and Patty's house.  It seemed like we were always laughing and having fun.  I remember how excited Tom was to introduce Bonnie to all of us and how proud he was of his family.  Tom was surrounded by the love of his wife, daughters, and amazing sisters. You all are all in my thoughts.  Tom will always be in our hearts.

The last time I saw Tom was when he was working at Roger's Buick. We spent time reminiscing about his year in my first grade classroom. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends and his Summit family.

Please accept our heartfelt sympathy for your loss- Tom was a one of a kind friend and coworker. He enjoyed hard work and humor even if he was the target, doubtless that came from Lazo. The smile was the same, and eventually so were the cigars-though Tom's were not radioactive......  I find myself strangely at peace with this even though he was so very young . Dear Bonnie, Sara, and Traci, 

I will always remember Tom as a man of amazing energy, ambition, and with a zest for life; his fashion sense, and abilities with people and business.  Of course we first met you guys when you moved into the house on Marvell back in ~ 1990 and we were all in the Derrenbacker homegroup.   I well recall Bonnie's incredible hospitality and cooking.  I remember going to auctions together.  I always think of Tom, even now, whenever I drive down route 92 and see the small forest of trees he planted on the north side of the house on Thorntree perhaps 20 years ago.  I remember a fun and scary limousine trip to Cazenovia one winter night to celebrate Bonnie's birthday years ago.  I recall getting together for breakfasts for a time with him to go through the book "Promise Keepers."  I remember Tom speaking at that time about the challenges of raising teenage daughters.   (An experience that for me was still years away) The unbelievable things you guys did with houses.  Times and circumstances changed; as the years went by, we watched from afar as his family grew, and Tom overcame challenges to achieve notable business success.  

Most of all, I will remember Tom as a man who was not afraid to live life to the fullest.   He was fun to be around.   Lessons and an example we can all take to heart.  

We are so, so sad he is gone.   The legacy he leaves behind is the family and many lives he has touched and influenced for good.  

We pray for God's grace and comfort to you all.

I am so sorry to hear of Tom's passing.  Tom was a good friend to Mark. I know they enjoyed a passion for the auto business but mostly for the wonderful people and lasting friendships they made. Tom knew and loved  the bible and spoke often of the Lord.
