

William E. Hayden, Sr., 69, of Orange City, FL died April 15, 2012 in Florida Hospital Fish Memorial in Orange City, Florida. Mr. Hayden was born on July 21, 1942 in Syracuse, New York, the son of Thomas and Dorothy Enders Hayden. He was a job setter for New Process Gear, a subsidiary of Chrysler Corporation, in New York prior to his retirement. He was a member of Assumption Church in Syracuse, NY; Local #624 of the U.A.W., a Boy Scout Leader and Cub Scout Leader, Volunteer Fireman, Football Coach, Softball Team Coach and a sponsor of W.B. Bees. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Edward Hayden.
He is survived by his fiancé, Deborah Johnson; four sons, William (Mary) Hayden, Jr., Thomas (Betsy) Hayden, Joseph Hayden and Robert (Marian) Hayden; a daughter, Patricia Hayden (Peter Brillanti); twelve grandchildren; two brothers, Thomas (Annie) Hayden and John Hayden; a sister, Patricia Ann Persse and a sister-in-law, Kathi Hayden and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be conducted Monday 9:15 A.M. at FARONE & SON FUNERAL HOME and 10 A.M. at Assumption Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 4-7 P.M. at the funeral home, 1500 Park Street, Syracuse.
