

Willie Belle Pace, 73, of Syracuse, passed away Sunday at University Hospital. Born in Langdale, AL she resided in Syracuse for 54 years. Willie retired from Frasier-Jones after many years. She was also employed by Miller Brewery, Cambridge Filter and GE. She was a member of the Eastern Star and a member at Southern Missionary Baptists Church. She also enjoyed playing bingo. She is predeceased by her father, John R. Brook; mother, Beatrice m. Brooks; sister, Lillie B. Willis; brothers, John L. Brooks and Henry L. Brooks, Sr. and great-granddaughter, Daziah M. (Chyna) Haynes.
Willie is survived by her husband, Edgar Pace, Sr. of 54 years; seven daughters, Kathy (William) St. George of Alabama, Vicky Pace, Sharon (Anthony) Smith, Katrina Smith, Terry Pace, Gail (Eric) Walker and Kenyetta Harrison all of Syracuse; son, Edgar Pace, Jr. of Syracuse; brother, Robert Brooks of Chicago; 18 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Calling hours: Friday, 10 a.m. to 12p.m. with funeral services to follow at 12 p.m. at Southern Missionary Baptist Church, 3143 Midland Avenue, Syracuse.
Burial to follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
