Abel Cisneros passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2013, at the age of 63. He was born on May 1, 1950, in Taft, Texas, to Domingo Cisneros and Josephina Zapata. Abel lived in the Taft area all his life and made his living as a scaffold builder in the construction industry. Abel was considered a hardworking and proud man. He will be remembered as a loving and dedicated husband and father.
Abel was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
He is survived by his beloved wife of thirty-nine years, Blanca Estella Cisneros; his children: Dale (Theresa) Lawver, Ronald (Malinda) Lawver, Rita (Robert) Cardenas, Abel B. (Kristy) Cisneros, Mary J. Cisneros and Henry Cisneros; fourteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; six sisters; three brothers; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 12, 2013, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, July 13, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Taft. Burial will follow at Taft Memorial Park.
