Ada Rubeal White

Ada was born on March 18th, 1927 in Cushing, OK, the daughter of Lowell and Enid (Kirkpatrick) Dunn. Later the family relocated to the Qualls Community. As a teenager, she worked at Camp Gruber until the end of WWII. It was then she met and married Daniel White, on March 30th, 1946. In 1954, she graduated from Virgils Beauty School in Muskogee and was a hairdresser for life. The family which included three children, moved to The Washington DC area in 1957. Where ever the family lived she found a church to attend and got involved. Later when they returned to the Tahlequah area, she owned and operated ABC Beauty Supply for 25 years. She loved to cook and sew. Many a Sunday dinner was enjoyed at her house. She was the most generous ,loving, uplifting person a bright spot on this earth, wherever she went. We Love You.

She is preceded in death by her husband Daniel C. White, her Mother and Father, and two brothers, Donald Dunn and Lawrence Dunn. She will be remembered by three children, Charlotte Carter of Griffin, GA, Susan Pippin of Park Hill and Michael C. White of Tulsa, OK. She leaves six grandchildren, Angela Rooks, Steven Austin, Linda Pippin, Danny Pippin, Angela Alderman, Michelle Sanders, and Patrick White. She will live on in her 12 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, as well as a host of friends and loved ones too numerous to mention.

Funeral services for Ada Rubeal (Dunn) White will be held on Monday, November 29th, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Reed-Culver Chapel with Brother Bobby Musgrove officiating. Her family will receive guests on Sunday, November 28th, 2021 beginning at 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Reed-Culver Chapel. She will be laid to rest at White Oak/Qualls Cemetery next to her husband Daniel. Pallbearers include Chad Pippin, Trent Pippin, Kaden Pippin, Danny Pippin, Paul Turner, and Charlie Dunn.
