To all that knew her she was simply one of a kind, and to her family she was their rock. She was the second born of seven and the glue that held them all together. Brenda married the love of her life Jerry Lenard on June 3, 1977. They settled down and built their homestead on West Stone Chapel Road in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Brenda was mother to three girls Brandy, Jabree, and Charity; and they were the reason she lived and breathed. She enjoyed being a wife and momma, but she gained a name that she wore so proudly, it was Nana, and she went above and beyond for her grandbabies. Mrs. Lenard was the kind of person you turned to in all walks of life, she welcomed with open arms and never cast judgement, she would tell you how she felt good or bad, you never had a question where you stood with her. Brenda enjoyed sitting on her back porch drinking coffee, being with family, and following her grandbabies around to whatever sport function they had. With a voice so unique and detectable when she spoke you knew Brenda Lenard was present. A legacy was left behind, she changed the atmosphere at the ball field and no game will ever be the same.
Brenda is survived in life by her husband, Jerry Lenard and two granddaughters, Maddison Hamby and Kessly Lenard of the home, daughter, Brandy and husband Leon Wright of Tahlequah, daughter, Jabree and husband Greg Wood of Tahlequah, daughter, Charity Hamby and boyfriend Jeff Taylor of Park Hill, brother, Johnny Ray and wife Annette Brown of Locust Grove, brother, Dickie Brown of Cleveland Ohio, brother Marvin and wife Charlene Brown of Stilwell, sister, Dianna and husband Tim Fountain of Tahlequah, her grandbabies Whitney, Bailey, Caitlin, Jayda, Jerachi, and Aaron, great grandbabies Hartlee, Blakely, Baker, Maddox, Kazden, and Khalil. A host of nieces and nephews and a countless amount of people that call her Nana.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Dick and Dorsie Brown, her sister, Debbie Sisco, her brother, Body Brown, and nephew, Timothy Fountain Jr.
