Kevin was the kind of man who never needed to be the loudest person in the room to leave an impression. He was simple, intelligent, and deeply independent. He found joy in the things that fascinated him most; computers, technology, and video games dating all the way back to Atari, his first gaming love. He enjoyed tinkering, figuring things out, and spending time immersed in the digital worlds and machines that sparked his curiosity.
He was quiet by nature and never cared much for being the center of attention. Most people who knew Kevin would say he was happiest doing things his own way, living a simple life, and keeping close to the people and places he knew best. He had a sharp mind, a good sense of humor, and a knack for figuring things out and fixing just about anything he set his mind to.
Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Gann and Margie Paulette Bighorse; his grandmother, Dora Tooley; grandfather, Silas White; and his aunts, Maybelle Washington and Doris McIntosh.
He is survived by his brother, Jason Starnes; his sister, Andrea Meadows and husband Glenn; and nephew Nicholas Meadows, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Though Kevin preferred a quiet life, the space he leaves behind will be deeply felt by those who loved him. Some people speak loudly to the world. Others leave their mark quietly, through memories, presence, and the simple comfort of having known them.
