He was active in Boy Scouts and enjoyed camping and survival skills. His family relocated to the Tahlequah area and here Boe worked at several jobs from the Concho Indian School in the maintenance department to the local nursery’s to cooking dinner at Big Red Restaurant in Keys, OK. When he had some spare time, he enjoyed fishing with his dad and spending a day outdoors. He was a proud member of the Choctaw tribe of Oklahoma. When he was home relaxing, he was probably in front of the TV, watching OU Football or Thunder Basketball. He was a quiet man, who enjoyed the simple things of life. Just being at home or watching the sunset was enough for Boe. He was a Methodist by faith and attended church with his mother and father. He was the father of three children, Clifford Jr., Ryan, and Starrla, and had five grandchildren. Boe passed from this life on Monday, March 27th, 2017 in Tahlequah, OK, with his family by his side. He was 61 years old. He will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Amanda (Barnett) Dyer and Clifford and Murl (Smith) Gunter. He joins his father who passed in 2004 and his mother, who passed in 2012. He also joins one niece, Haiden Wedman.
Those left to cherish his memory include four sisters, Becky Dyer of Mustang, OK, Julia Cummings and husband Bruce of Indianola, OK, Jacquie Evans of Park Hill, OK, and Dianne Ezell and husband Ronnie of El Reno, OK.
