Deborah “Debbie” K. (Pigeon) Pritchett, 64, of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, was born July 2, 1961, to Dewey and Barbara Pigeon in Tahlequah, OK, and passed away on February 5, 2026, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, surrounded by the love of her family.
Debbie married Paul Pritchett on November 26, 1976, and together they built a life centered on family, hard work, and showing up for the people she loved. They were blessed with two sons.
For many years, Debbie worked in sales at several local nurseries, including Mid-Western Nursery, Park Hill Nursery, Greenleaf Nursery, and Grand River Nursery, before later working for JSL Farms LLC in Muskogee, Oklahoma.
One of Debbie’s greatest joys was watching her family play sports. She loved cheering on her sons, Berton and Brad, when they were younger, and later found just as much joy watching her grandkids on the field, whether it was football or baseball. She also loved fishing, enjoyed cheering on the Dallas Cowboys, and catching a NASCAR race whenever she could. A note on her Facebook page captured her heart perfectly: “My sons and grandkids, love them to the moon and back!!”
Debbie is survived by her husband, Paul Pritchett, of the home; her two sons, Berton Pritchett and wife Samantha of Gentry, Arkansas, and Bradley Pritchett of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; her sisters, Delores Turney and husband Randy of Hulbert, Oklahoma, and Stephanie Waits of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; and her brother, Terry Pigeon and wife Annette of Wagoner, Oklahoma, 7 grandchildren: Haley Pritchett and Hannah Pritchett both of Westville, Oklahoma; Easton Pritchett of Gentry, Arkansas; Hayden Pritchett, Luke Pritchett, and Ben Pritchett, all of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; Jaxson Payne of Gentry, Arkansas, and one great-grandson, Parker; her aunt, Beatrice Davis; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey, and Barbara Pigeon; her brother, Bobby Pigeon; and one baby sister.
Debbie will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
