Esther Mae Henson Rutherford

Esther Mae (Henson) Rutherford was born on April 21st, 1957 in Tahlequah, OK, the daughter of Mose and Sarah Jane (Thompson) Henson. Esther went to her eternal home on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at her home in Tahlequah, OK. She was 57 years old.

She loved to spend her free time gardening, and working with her plants, most of all she loved spending time with her family, she was an amazing mother, grandmother and sister that will be dearly missed by all.

Esther is preceded in death by her parents.

Those left to cherish her memory include two sons, Jeremy Rutherford and wife Stephani of Wagoner, OK and Brandon Myers and Krystal Chance of Briggs, OK; five brothers, Hank Henson and wife Paula of Window Rock, AZ, Allen Henson and wife Juanita of Coalgate, OK, Herman Henson and wife Jennifer of Lost City, OK, Patrick Henson and wife Jackie of Lost City, OK and Bob Henson and wife Sheila of Briggs, OK; three sisters, Dorothy Kay Anderson of Sand Springs, OK, Sharon (Henson) Hall of Tahlequah, OK and Sheila Henson of Muskogee, OK. Her legacy lives on through her three grandchildren, Jason and Emily Rutherford of Wagoner, OK and Braydon Kye Myers of Briggs, OK as well as nieces, nephews and many other friends and loved ones.
