

Leroy and Charlotte Leech. He attended the military academy in Claremore, Oklahoma
for most of his school years, graduating his senior year at Central High School in Oklahoma City.
He was married and had a daughter, Diane, when he went to serve his country in the army in World war II. His marriage ended shortly after his return from the army.
In 1949 he was remarried to Ila Mae Basford Oklahoma City in 1949. The two of them started a small dairy farm in Tahlequah and also owned and managed many properties.In later years they enjoyed selling antiques, oil painting, and Forrest always loved to work outdoors.He lived a long and active life, and always enjoyed visiting with family and friends. Aftere the passing of his wife and best friend he was blessed with eight more years of good health and happiness and remained active the rest of his life.
Forrest past away peacefully on September 7, 2012 in Oklahoma City. He was one hundred and one years old. Forrest will be greatly missed by his family and all of those who called him friend.
Forrest is preceded in death by his parents Leroy and Charlotte, his two sisters, Muriel and Zora, and his Stepdaughter, Norma.
Those who are left to cherish his memories include his daughter, Diane and her husband Larry, his six Grandchildren and many Great & Great Great Grandchildren.
