Ivan Foreman (Igor) was born Sept 5, 1959 in Claremore, OK to Isaac and Ella Mae (Blackfox) Foreman. In his younger days, Ivan loved to shoot pool and has many trophies to show for his talents for both tournaments and leagues. Igor also loved to play fastpitch softball and was a character at that. Any of his teammates would be quick to share a story about Ivan and the witty person he was on and off the field. He loved his women and was a self-proclaimed, Ladies Man. One time as he was riding through the parking lot at an Oklahoma City fastpitch tournament, you could hear him saying, “Debbie, you still love me”. I’m sure Debbie Ridge still loves Igor. He always had everyone around him laughing and had many sayings. When he wasn’t out chasing the ladies, he liked to be kicked back watching wrestling, especially John Cena, or watching football, specifically Dallas Cowboys, his favorite team, and the OU Sooners.
Throughout his life Ivan worked several different jobs which included HVAC repairs and as a general laborer. In 2008, he became a licensed minister at Johnson Prairie Baptist Church, where he was a member, alongside Uncle Reverend Fox Blackfox.
Igor completed his life’s journey in Tulsa, OK on Monday, May 15, 2023 at the age of 63 years, 5 months and 10 days. The laughter and love he brought to so many will be dearly missed.
He is preceded in death by his son Orlando Shawn Williams, wife Rowena (Springwater) Foreman, daughter-in-law Regina Kay Williams, son Troy Springwater and daughter Stacey Lynn Dreadfulwater, Uncle Fox Blackfox, mom Ella Mae Foreman, sisters Georgia Buck, Emma Russell, Ida Tindall, several uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.
His memory lives on in his sons Joseph Williams, Donald Dreadfulwater, Anthony Dreadfulwater and Ben Phillips. Four sisters, Nora Douglas and Ray of Tulsa, OK, Velma Blossom and husband Jerry of Chouteau, OK, Darlene Foreman of Tahlequah, OK, Patricia Foreman of Tulsa, OK and one brother Johnny Foreman of Broken Arrow, OK.
