Jackie Diana Crowell-Storts was born on December 15th, 1960 in Port Lavaca, TX, the daughter of Delano and Helen Oveta (Martin) Crowell. She was raised in Tulsa, Ok with two brothers and three sisters. Upon graduating from high school, she married and started a family, having two sons and two daughters. She worked at Cherokee Nation in the child Support Enforcement office as a clerk. She was an amazing person who made friends easily, was easy going and fun to be around. She gave everyone the benefit of the doubt, saw the good in people and did everything she could to help those around her. She had a wonderfully unique sense of humor, loved to laugh, dance and have a good time. She always had good stories and funny experiences to tell. Her free time was spent going to yard sales to hunt for the elusive bargain and spending a quiet afternoon at the old fishing hole. Jackie also like photography took wonderful photographs. She never had kids in her home that she didn’t treat like they weren’t her own. They were always welcome at Jackie’s table. She liked taking her dogs for walks, sharing a cup of coffee and dinner with her best friend Angela after work, and spending special time with her son Ricky on weekends. Jackie loved and lived for her children, and her beautiful granddaughter. She enjoyed the simply things in life centered around family time with her children, granddaughter, mother, brothers and sisters as they gathered for many special occasions and holidays. Jackie passed from this life all too soon on January 15th, 2016 in Tahlequah, OK, following a long hard fought battle with cancer. She was 55 years old. She leaves her loves ones with many special and wonderful memories of their time together. Jackie was a beautiful person. A person with a kind and loving heart and as her mother said, I will miss hearing her voice each day, she was ‘my Jackie.’ She will forever remain in their hearts and will be missed greatly.
