Johnny Mack Webster Sr. was born on August 1st, 1967 in Portland, OR, the son of Samuel Webster and Veda May LaFon-Arneecher. He grew up in Muskogee and attended school there, playing football and participating in boxing. He was raised with two brothers and one sister, Marvin, Samuel and Floise. He decided on a career in Carpentry and could also fix just about anything you gave him to fix, from the house to the family car. He traveled extensively and worked all over the USA, and really enjoyed Colorado. He enjoyed fishing and camping when he had some time off. He enjoyed going for a spin on his motorcycle, and chasing his children and grandchildren around. He was the father of two daughters, two sons, and the step dad to one step son and three step daughters. Johnny was an exceptional cook, making some of the best baby back ribs, goulash, spaghetti, and pulled pork sandwiches, not to mention his biscuits with chocolate gravy. On April 2nd, 2013, he married the love of his life and his best friend, Shalanda “Kay” Bolton. The next 13 years were spent making memories, sharing laughter and spending time with the family they loved. Johnny was headstrong, and enjoyed order in his household. He made sure his children used their manners, and was the kind of man that would help anyone that asked.
He loved everyone and had a big heart. There was nothing better than watching his grandchildren grow up, play in the yard and make him smile. For all the things Johnny had planned, he passed from this life on January 16th, 2023 in Tulsa, OK, surrounded by the family he loved. He was 55 years old and will be greatly missed.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Lee and Floise (Rawlins) LaFon and Sam and Eula (McGowan) Webster, his mother, Veda May LaFon-Arneecher, his sister, Floise Webster, his brothers, Samuel Webster and Scott Webster, his late wife, Deborah Webster.
