

Park Hill, OK- Funeral services for Juanita E. Williams will be held on Friday, January 13th, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Nazarene in Tahlequah, OK with Pastors Jason Powers and Don Nichols officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 12th, 2012 at Reed-Culver Funeral Home of Tahlequah with the family from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Interment will take place at Ft. Gibson National cemetery at 1:00 PM on Friday, January 13th, 2012.
Juanita E. Williams was born on March 9th, 1929 in Oxly, MO the daughter of Clellie and Ella (White) Krigbaum. She graduated from Bartlesville High School where she met and married the love of her life, James E. “Jim” Williams in 1949 while Jim was still in the U.S. Navy. Together they built a home and raised their three children, James Jr., Alice, and Jeff, in such locations as Bartlesville, OK, El Paso, TX, and Edmond, OK. In Edmond, Jim set up a family business while Juanita worked at Putnam City Central Junior High School. In her church Juanita worked in a wide variety of positions from co-sponsoring the youth group to teaching crafts at youth camps and serving on the Nazarene Mission Board. In 1984 Jim and Juanita “retired” to Park Hill, OK where they ran a grocery store and later, Juanita worked at Tahlequah High School. Juanita possessed many talents including making German goose-feather Christmas trees to traveling the globe to such destinations as China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Spain, France, Portugal, and Canada. Juanita was a Nazarene by faith and lived her life to the glory of God. She made sure that no person ever felt excluded from activities. She was a gentle, kind, and loving person who possessed a wonderful sense of humor and a warm, caring smile. She adored her husband and family and focused her life around them and their day-to-day activities. Her husband passed away in 2002, and Juanita continued to live her life to the fullest with her children and grandchildren. The Lord called Juanita to her heavenly home on Saturday, January 7th, 2012 in Edmond, OK in the home of her son, Jeff. She was 82 years old. She will be fondly remembered for the love she gave every person she met.
Juanita is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jim, two brothers, Cecil Krigbaum and Robert “Bob” Krigbaum and three sisters, Naomi Holton, Joan Prevost, and Eula House.
Juanita is survived by her three loving children, James Williams and wife Diana Kaye of China, Alice Tullis and husband K.J. of Yukon, OK, and Jeff Williams and wife Tanya of Edmond, OK. Her legacy lives on in her six grandchildren, Lisa and Patrick Carr, Lori and Todd McCormack, Sarah and Aaron Hallmark, Caleb Williams, Ryan Williams, and Patricia Tullis. She leaves three great-grandchildren, A.J. Hallmark, Ella Hallmark, and Anderson Carr. She is also survived by two sisters, Gwen Albrecht and Millie Perryman, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and a host of friends and loved ones.
