Kathy Sue Vann was born on August 12th, 1956 in Claremore, OK, the daughter of Walter and Eldee (Green) Wilson. She and her husband, Steve Vann, were married for over 40 years, and had a loving home. Within this home, Kathy was a homemaker, and proudly went about her many duties, whether it be school projects or clever goodie bags for their teachers, she was always keeping the family in line. She was a mother to everyone, due to her caring nature and huge heart. There was never a moment she wasn’t looking for ways to do for others. Her door was never closed to those around her, especially family and loved ones. She made regular phone calls to distant family to stay in touch over the years and was very close to her cousins.
She was an avid member of the First Indian Baptist Church, and had many interests and passions. She enjoyed sewing and crafting with beads, as well as getting good deals on clothes and interesting finds at thrift stores and yard sales.
This strong and caring mother and grandmother was called to her eternal home on July 30th, 2021. Kathy was 64 years old, and left a lasting impact on those in her life.
She is preceded in death by her father, Walter Wilson, son, Radomes Vann, brother, Joseph Green, and sisters, Betty Lou Greenfeather and Minnie Gene Evans.
