Dallas, TX- A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 2:00 pm CST at Calvary Hill North Chapel in Dallas, TX with Monsignor Andres Sagra officiating. Entombment will follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery & Mausoleum.
Mary Silveria Cecilia de Mello Little was born December 22, 1926 in Newport, RI, the daughter of Joseph Silveria and Louise Marianna (da Silva) de Mello. She married Don K. Little on August 8, 1949. This union was blessed with 1 son and 4 daughters. Don and Mary moved to the Denver, CO area in 1980. Mary was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a devout Catholic and long-time member of the Parish of St. Mary’s in Denver, CO, where she served on the Altar and Rosary Society. She studied the Bible intensely for 4 years and taught Bible classes. She was an artist, and also loved to play golf and shop. She adored her family and spent hours caring for their needs. Don and Mary relocated to Skiatook, OK after Mary’s health began to fail. She went to her Eternal Rest on November 2, 2012, with her loved ones by her side. She was 85 years old.
Mary is survived by her husband of 63 years, Don K. Little of Skiatook, OK. Her children include Don K. Little, Jr., Barbara Larsen, Patricia Little, Pamela McCune, and Cynthia Little. She also leaves 2 sisters, Elizabeth Stratton and Mary Lou Spencer. Her legacy lives on in her 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, and many extended family members and friends.
