Nora Vinyard

Memorial services for Nora Vinyard will be held on Thursday, December 29th, 2016 at 10:00 am Lakeview Park Church of the Nazarene located at 3500 NW 50th Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73112 with Senior Pastor, Reverend Jim Williams officiating. A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 30th, 2016 at 12:00 pm at Tahlequah City Cemetery in Tahlequah, OK. Online condolences for the family may be left at www.reedculver.com.

Pallbearers for Nora include Dakota Vinyard, Montana Vinyard, Brandon Vinyard, John Nosovitch, III, Samuel Nosovitch, and Benjamin Nosovitch. Honorary pallbearers include Brian Vinyard, John Nosovitch, and James Secratt.

Nora Vinyard, age 83, was born on August 11, 1933 in Oklahoma County, OK, to Samuel Luther and Edith Mary (Miller) Vinyard. She attended Bagley High School in Tahlequah, OK. After graduating high school, she continued her education at Northeastern State University where she obtained her Bachelor degree in Business and then received her Master Degree in Accounting at Oklahoma State University. She worked as a CPA and was a partner with Amend, Smith and Company before retiring in 1996. Nora was a faithful member of the Lakeview Park Church of the Nazarene in Oklahoma City and was an active supporter of many charities, both locally and internationally. Nora went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 22nd, 2016 in Oklahoma City, OK. Her kind and giving heart will be missed by all who knew her.

Nora is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Eugene Kenneth Vinyard and Clarence Wesley Vinyard.

Those left to cherish her memory include one niece, Julia (Vinyard) Nosovitch and husband John Nosovitch, Jr., one nephew, Brian VInyard and wife Lorinda, six great nephews, John III, Samuel, and Benjamin Nosovitch and Dakota, Montana, Brandon Vinyard and husband Michael, one great-great niece, Aubrey and one great-great nephew, Riker.
