Paul Richard Walkingstick

Funeral services for Paul Richard Walkingstick will be held on Thursday, April 21st, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the Reed-Culver Chapel. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 20th, 2016 from 1:00 Pm until 6:00 Pm at Reed-Culver Chapel. Interment will be held at Boudinot Cemetery near Tahlequah, OK. Paul Richard Walkingstick was born on February 4th, 1965 in Oregon, the son of Nathanial and Sharon Walkingstick. He attended school in Tahlequah, OK, then began his occupation of being a truck driver. Paul absolutely loved being on the open road in his truck, and would proudly announce it was the only life that suited him! When he wasn’t flying down the highway, Paul could be found on the farm he loved, raising cattle, chickens, turkeys and goats. He was happy out doors cutting down trees, getting ready to go out hunting for deer, or having his grandkids come over to visit. He enjoyed taking them out to eat and teasing them for hours on end. He was always in the mood to watch a good movie, he had 100s in his collection. Paul loved collecting knives, and had a large collection of all kinds including knives in canes. He was slow to anger, and had a wonderful sense of humor. He passed from this life on April 15th, 2016 in Tahlequah, OK. He was 51 years old. Paul will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Paul is preceded in death by his mom and dad, his brother Carl, and his grandpa and Grandma Walkingstick.

Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Tiffany Buckhorn and husband Matthew of Tahlequah, OK, Taletha Walkingstick of Tahlequah, OK, and Paul Michael Walkingstick. He leaves one brother, John Walkingstick of Colorado, and his three adored grandchildren, Travis, Sherman, and Lilly Walker all of Tahlequah, OK. He also leaves many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends and loved ones.
