Teehee Washington was born on November 19th, 1938 in Gore, OK, the son of George Washington and Kelly Teehee. He grew up enjoying the countryside along with his two brothers and four sisters. On October 29th, 1965, Teehee began his life with his best friend and companion, Linda Grimmett. Together, they shared nearly 58 years of memories. He worked as a mover for a furniture store before retiring later in life. When he wasn’t working, he could be found at his favorite fishing spots and looked forward to when hunting season came around. He had a wonderful singing voice, singing bass for a quartet group. Teehee was a proud husband, father and friend. On Saturday, September 9th, 2023, he was called to his eternal home at the age of 84. A wonderful homecoming took place as he was greeted at the gates by his son and family that has gone on before.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two sons, Robert Lee Blackbird and Robert Wayne Washington, one brother, Raymond Washington, and three sisters, Flora Birdtail, Dora Smith and Viola Grimmett.
He will be remembered by his loving wife, Linda Washington, of the home, one brother, Charlie Washington and wife Ova of Claremore, Oklahoma and one sister, Annie Treasure of Locust Grove, Oklahoma along with many nieces, nephews and loved ones.
