Thomas Mitchell Blair Jr.

HULBERT, OK- Funeral services for Thomas Mitchell Blair Jr. will be held on Monday, July 28th, 2014 at 11:00 am at the First Baptist Church of Hulbert with Celebrant Rodney Mattox officiating. Interment will follow at 1:00 pm at Ft. Gibson National Cemetery in Ft. Gibson, OK with military honors.

Pallbearers for Mitchell include Jess Lee Taylor, Brent Taylor, John Green, Charlie Burke, Sherrod Hornbuckle and Johnny Wiley.

Thomas “Mitchell” Blair, Jr. was born on March 27th, 1976 in Tahlequah, OK to Thomas Blair Sr. and Patricia (Taylor) Blair. Mitchell graduated Wagoner High School in 1995. He was a proud soldier in the U.S. Army serving in Bravo Company, 101st Forward Support Battalion 1st Infantry Division until his honorable discharge in 2009. Mitchell was a proud business owner of Cousins Drywall and a technician for Dish Network.

The Lord called Mitchell home on July 16th, 2014 at the young age of 38 to join his grandmother, Imogene Blair and his great grandmother, Mary Carrington.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Amber Blair of the home in Muskogee, OK, his parents, his three adored children, Garrett Bryant Blair of Wagoner, OK, McKenna Lynn Blair of Wagoner, OK, and Airabella Michelle Blair of the home. He leaves three brothers and two sisters, Joshua Dawson of Brownwood, TX, Trystan Hunt Blair of Long Island , NY, Brandon O’Donell Blair of Long Island, NY, Nona McHenry of Tahlequah, OK, and step sister, Julia Brooke Sizemore of Tahlequah, OK. He leaves his grandparents, Bobby Blair and Bertha Blair of Tahlequah, OK and Jess Taylor and Georgia Taylor of Hulbert, OK as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends and loved ones.
