Tommy was born on June 5, 1964 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He was the Son of Jim and Annie (Bird) Sixkiller. Tommy graduated from Westville High School. He worked at the Flint Ridge Golf Course. Tommy loved being outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, crawdad gigging, golfing, tinkering with his old truck, looking for wild mushrooms, and digging wild onions. In his free time he made Native American crafts such as knives, arrowheads, tomahawks, and pipes. Tommy was a very proud grandpa "Duda", to 3 grandsons and 1 granddaughter. His daughter and grandbabies were his pride and joy.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, one brother, George Sixkiller and one sister Daisy Mae Breshears-Chancellor.
He is survived by his loving family, that includes one daughter, Krista Jo Brantley, his four grandchildren Zaydenn Brantley, Weldon Brantley, Grayson Brantley, and Emelynn Brantley, of Kansas, Oklahoma, his brother Dale Sixkiller and wife Phyllis of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, Max Sixkiller and wife Lisa of Springdale, Arkansas, sister Louann Cochran of Rose, Oklahoma, Georgia Ann Sexton and husband Roy of Westville, Oklahoma, Lorene Crandall of Catoosa, Oklahoma. Several nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends also survive him.
Funeral services for Tommy Allen Sixkiller will be held on Wednesday, January 26th, 2022, at 2:00 Pm at Reed-Culver Chapel .His family will have a visitation Tuesday, January 25th, 2022, beginning at 2:00 Pm until 6:00 Pm at Reed-Culver Chapel. He will be laid to rest at Chewey Cemetery in Chewey, OK. Pallbearers include Joseph Hartshorne, Austin Cochran, Jeremy Cochran, Jim Sixkiller, Kenneth Oakball, Zaydenn Brantley, and Chad Thompson.
