

Funeral services for Wanda Louise Jackson will be held on Friday, September 6th, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Reed-Culver Chapel.Mr. Rodney Mattox is serving as officiant. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 5th, 2013 at Reed-Culver from noon until 8:00 PM. Interment will take place at Holland Cemetery.
Pallbearers for Wanda include Brandon Poor, Dustin Potts, Randy Jeremy Jackson, Brady Gilliam, Jason Matheny, and Preston Smith.
Wanda Louise Jackson, or Sissy to her family and friends, was born on July 3rd, 1932 in Cherokee County, Ok the daughter of Tryus and Ethel (Jordan) Gilliam. She attended Tahlequah High School. Wanda met and married her husband, Randall Jackson on May 28th, 1951 in Tahlequah, OK. This union was blessed with two son and one daughter, Randy, Pete, and Robbie, and 60 years of marriage. Wanda’s husband was a cattle rancher and carpenter and she was his back up and support. She was a talented cook and housekeeper. In her spare time, she enjoyed making dolls and sewing. She loved time spent with her family and was so very proud of all of her grandchildren. With the passing of her husband in 2012, Wanda stayed close to home. A Christian by faith, she was called home from her labors on September 9th, 2013 in Muskogee, OK. Wanda was 81 years old. She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Wanda is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one sister, Anna Mae Corbell.
Those left to cherish her memory include three children, Randy Jackson and wife Lynn of Tahlequah, OK., Robbie Lynn Watts and husband Dee of Broken Arrow, OK, and Monty Junior Jackson and wife Ellen of Panola, OK. She leaves two brothers, Louie Gilliam and wife Wanda and Gary Gilliam and wife Dorothy all of Tahlequah, OK. her grandchildren include Kim Watson and husband Rick of Owasso, Jeremy Jackson and Amanda Davis-Jackson of Tahlequah, Quay Matheny and husband Jason of broken Arrow, Amanda Smith and husband Preston of Coweta, OK, Emily Blair Potts and husband Dustin of Wilburton, and Lacey Poore and husband Brandon of Wilburton, OK. Her Great Grandchildren include Ashlynn Matheny, Gracelynn Smith, Charity Potts, Kaleb Garcia, Tyler Garcia, Dylan Watson, Adam Davis, and Ryder Jackson. Wanda leaves a very special friend. Ellen Gamblin as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends and loved ones.
