Wayne Dale Stevens

Wayne graduated from Norman High School in 1978 where he was an accomplished athlete excelling in track, wrestling, and football. Wayne enjoyed spending time watching his favorite sports teams, especially the OU Sooners when they would dominate on the football field, but his favorite pastime was being with his family every chance that presented itself.

He was preceded in death by his mother Wanda Jean Ward of Tahlequah, his father Dale Stevens of Springfield, MO, sister Sabra Ward of Tahlequah, brother William Ward of Tahlequah, and brother-in-law Glenn Johnson of Tahlequah.

He is survived by sister Kathy Ann Johnson of Tahlequah, brother Raymond Stevens and his wife Stephanie of Springfield, MO, sister Gayle Mayberry of Willow Springs, MO, a niece Rachel (Johnson) Frie of Tahlequah, a nephew Aaron Johnson of Tahlequah, and several other loved ones and family members who will all miss him dearly.

A private burial will take place at Caney Cemetery.
