Anna Lynn Taylor

Anna Lynn Taylor, 64, boldly entered into the Kingdom of Heaven on December 21, 2011. After battling pneumonia for several weeks, she peacefully and comfortably went home to Jesus, her LORD and Savior, while at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. She was surrounded by family, friends, prayer, song and enormous love.

The viewing will be held at 12: 00 noon, followed by the funeral service at 1:00 pm at Northwoods Baptist Church, 3763 Capital Circle NW, Tallahassee FL, on Monday, December 26, 2011.

Anna Lynn (Griffith) Taylor was born and raised in Tallahassee Fl. She was a member at East Hill Baptist Church , where she fell in love with Christ at age 4. As an adult she grew in her faith at Northwoods Baptist Church. She went to Kate Sullivan, Cobb and Leon High. She earned a BS in Nursing (RN) at Florida State University and later pursued a higher nursing degree at Emory University. Early life experiences shaped her to be the most caring and compassionate nurse. She retired after 25 years of distinguished work in the health service industry. However, her compassion continued as a volunteer in schools, church, and non profits. Her heart was full of love, mercy and grace that extended to all she encountered.

Survivors include her daughter, Chelsea Kelter and son-in-law Jay Kelter and three grandsons, Bailey, Ethan and Keagan, Atlanta GA; sister, Sarah Griffith, Tallahassee; brothers, Lloyd Griffith (Frankie), Orlando and David Griffith ( Karen) Tallahassee; a special aunt, Doris Stewart; a host of nieces and nephews; and a large extended loving family.

Anna Lynn was preceded in death by her husband John Charles Taylor; her parents, Lloyd and Lois Griffith; and her brother, Dale Griffith.

Anna Lynn will be remembered as a godly woman with a generous and gracious heart.
