Raised as the daughter of a pastor, Barbara grew into a devoted servant of Jesus Christ, and her faith was the foundation of her life. After the birth of Teresa, she lovingly chose to dedicate herself to raising and caring for her cherished daughters. Barbara was a gifted artist whose creativity was reflected through beautiful paintings and handcrafted porcelain dolls. She was also musically gifted, bringing joy to those around her through the piano, organ and accordion. Whether through music or art, she had a gift for making life more beautiful. She found happiness in life's simple blessings - fishing with her beloved husband, watching the sunrise over Lake Talquin, and sharing a laugh with family and friends. Her sense of humor could brighten any room, and her warm smile made everyone feel welcome.
A ceremony to honor Barbara's life will be held on Wednesday, May 13th at 10:00 A.M Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home & Memorial Park on Timberlane Rd in Tallahassee, FL.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Leon Advocacy & Resource Center in memory of Barbara.
Barbara will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She will forever be remembered for her generous heart, her warm spirit, and the love she gave so freely to her friends and family.
