She was born December 26, 1931 in Panama City, Florida to Thomas and Rosa (née Goodwin) Davis.
Betty dedicated over 30 years of her life to Burlington Coat Factory, where she worked with pride and purpose in both Illinois and Florida. In her free time, Betty loved bowling, spending time outdoors, and tending to her garden. She was a devoted fan of the Chicago Cubs and Bears.
She was was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Thomas, Marvin, Johnny and Carl; sisters, Opal Corley and Alma Jackson; husband, James Henry Jenkins; and daughter, Patricia Jenkins.
Betty is survived by her daughters, Nancy Osburn Servos and Carol Shinall (Thomas); and son, Jack Jenkins (Marisol); granddaughters, Tania Osburn and Jasmine Grounds; grandsons, Clinton Osburn, Billy Osburn, and James Kingham; 20 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
