Brenda Ann Addison, 63, of Tallahassee passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2020. She was born December 9, 1956 in Gainesville, Florida to George and Dorothy Addison. Brenda was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her brother, Richard Addison, and wife, Pam, of Tallahassee and many other family members and friends. Brenda grew up in Tallahassee and graduated from James S. Rickards High School. She then went on to Florida State University graduating with a double major in government and finance. After graduating, she worked with the Florida Department of Administration, Division of Retirement. Brenda retired after 38 years in 2015. She was very close to her Dad and enjoyed traveling extensively and attended many Gator and Seminole football games with him. Favorite destinations included trips to Alaska and numerous trips to Disneyworld. She liked to collect souvenirs from their trips. Brenda never met a stranger and liked to keep up with current events. She had a kind and compassionate spirit. A private internment will be held Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at Roselawn Cemetery.
