

She was born in Tallahassee, Florida on December 29, 1947, to Hilton Daniel “H.D.” Reeves and Eloise June Reeves.
Catherine Ann “Cathy” Stansel graduated from Leon High School. She was married to Edgar Jackson “Jack” Stansel on March 12, 1966, in Tallahassee, Florida.
Most of her career was at Florida East Coast (FEC) Railroad located in St. Augustine, Florida, until she moved back with her family to Tallahassee. She worked with the Florida Phosphate Council and Florida Dairy Council until she retired. In her spare time she and her sisters got into a lot of mischief when they went out “Junkin” (Thrift shopping) when together.
She was preceded in death by her parents, (H. D. and Eloise Reeves); one of her sisters (Mary June Reeves Ard); her husband, Jack Stansel and her oldest daughter, Lisa Ann Stansel.
She is survived by her youngest daughter: Kimberley Ann Cammarata along with her husband Domenick Cammarata, grandchildren: Elizabeth Ashley Cammarata and Domenico “Nico” Cammarata, Jr., her sisters: Janet Reeves, Teresa Colson, and Jenny Lou Reeves along with their families respectively.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM on Friday, June, 16, 2023 at Culley’s MeadowWood Funeral Home; located at 700 Timberlane Road, Tallahassee, Fl 32312. Hors d'oeuvres and light refreshments will be available to all guests throughout the visitation.
Funeral Service arrangements will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Culley’s MeadowWood Funeral Home; located at 700 Timberlane Road, Tallahassee, Fl 32312 with interment to follow. Receiving friends and family for a family meal directly afterwards.
