

Charles E. Lee, Sr., 82, went to be with Jesus on July 11, 2014, at home. Born in Albion, NY, he lived his life serving others. He was self-employed many years as the owner of The "Best Life" Press Christian Bookstore & Printshop in Palm Beach Co. for over 35 yrs. More recently he worked for Avis Budget at the Tallahassee Regional Airport. He was a Volunteer Prison Chaplain for 56 yrs., serving in Palm Beach Co., Walkullah Co., and Springhill Work Release in Tallahassee.
He is survived by his wife of 63 yrs., Beverly J. (Williams) Lee; three sons, Charles E. Lee, Jr. (TX), James W. Lee (Tallahassee), Thomas A. Lee (Tallahassee); one daughter, Vicki (Lee) Nees (Edward L. Nees) (NJ); 5 grandchildren & 6 great-grandchildren; a brother, Lawrence L. Lee, Jr. (NC), and several nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Lawrence & Clara Lee, Sr., and a sister, Lois L. Saunders.
Funeral Services will take place Thursday, July 17, 2014, beginning with Visitation from 12:00 – 2:00pm and Funeral Service to follow at Culley’s MeadowWood Funeral Home, Timberlane Chapel.
