David Bryan Mayo

David was employed by the City of Tallahassee in the water and sewer department. He retired in 2015 after 30 years of service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and trips to the Appalachian mountains. Most of all he loved motorcycle riding, side-by-side off-roading and attending Jeep functions with his wife all over the country. He was a member of Bradfordville First Baptist Church and loved serving on the parking team. He was a former member of the Tallahassee Chapter of the Harley Owners Motorcycle Group and the Christian Motorcycle Association. He attended # 58 Tres Dias and later served.

David is predeceased by his father, William D. Mayo, mother, Marian Mayo, and grandson, Tristan Gosnell. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Jane Mayo of Tallahassee, Florida; stepson, Shawn Banks (Lisa) of Tallahassee, Florida; stepdaughter, Lori Gosnell (Scott) of Grand Ridge, Florida; grandchildren, Savannah Bridges, Caitlyn Banks, Sydney Gosnell and Casey Smith; life long friend, Gary Gray; loving furbabies, Molly, Peanut and Dusty; and sister, Lynda Gray.

The celebration of life service will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, April 18, 2026 at Bradfordville First Baptist Church located at 6524 Thomasville Road, Tallahassee, Florida, 32312.
