Donald Foster Benoit

Don was born in Clarendon Hills, Illinois to Ray and Grace Benoit. He attended Shattuck Military Academy in Faribault, Minnesota and graduated with a Business degree from the University of Miami. Don worked as a pharmaceuticals representative in Miami and West Palm Beach before retiring to Tallahassee. A member of Fellowship Presbyterian Church, Don was an avid football fan and refereed high school football. He served in the US Navy and was devoted to his wife Ruby of 67 years and family.

Don was predeceased by both parents, Ray Benoit and Grace Middel Benoit. He leaves to cherish his memories a loving wife, two daughters Connie (Ross) Armour of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and Gail (Brian) Balser of Tallahassee, Florida. He also leaves four grandchildren Debbie Richman, Julie Baker, Jeff Balser and Brittany Carman and four Great-Grandchildren.

The Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5:00-7:00 pm with Funeral Services on Thursday at 10:00 am, both at Culley’s MeadowWood Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 700 Timberline Rd.
