

Born in Amarillo, Texas, he was a long time Tallahassee resident. He received his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Texas where he was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. Don was an underwriter in the insurance business working for several companies. He retired from Rogers, Atkins and Gunter Agency. He was honorably discharges as Sergeant from the Army National Guard of Texas. Don loved to play golf. He enjoyed the outdoors and was always tinkering and fixing something. More recently, he worked in the cart barn at Southwood Golf Club.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Brent A. and Donna Graham, a brother-in-law, Jerry Ellis and his wife Janeth, three nieces, Marynell, Tonya and Julie and a cousin, Sally Graham.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, May 7, 2011 in the chapel of Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, 700 Timberlane Rd. with interment to follow in MeadowWood Memorial Park. Family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until the service time. Memorials may be made in Don's memory to Big Bend Hospice, 1723 Mahan Center Blvd, Tallahassee, Fl, 32308. Following the service, a celebration of Don's Life will continue at Old Town Cafe in Market Square
