She worked in the automotive industry for 25 years and worked for the Florida Lottery and Department of Environmental Protection until she retired.
She enjoyed spending time outdoors, fishing, camping, sometimes just sitting on the front porch watching her rose garden grow. She loved Sunday Family dinners, especially when everyone could gather around the TV to watch a good Nascar race.
She is survived by her husband of 71 years, William T. Brown of Woodville; one son, Chuck Brown of Wakulla; one daughter, Sue Bennett, and husband, Steve Bennett, of Wakulla; one granddaughter; two great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and eight brothers and sisters.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, October 30, 2025 at 11am at White Church Cemetery, 1900 Lawhon Road, Woodville, Florida.
