Dorothy was a very caring and compassionate person, and always put the needs of others before her own. The love of her life found her in Sarasota, FL and that's where they raised a wonderful family. She was well known and respected in her local communities. She retired from banking in the 90s and moved to Pinetta with her husband.
Dorothy adored nature and appreciated every experience and relationship with giving thanks to God's glory. It was the simple things around her in life that she never took for granted, commenting daily how fortunate and thankful she was. Above all, Dorothy was absolutely devoted to her husband and everything they built together in God's good grace. She supported, respected, and loved her husband & family unconditionally.
She was a strong woman of unfettered faith, believing in the power & fortitude of Jesus Christ's love and the beauty & peace that would await her after passing.
She is survived by her sons, Richard Noel of Pinetta & Bruce Noel of Lorida, and her three grandsons, Jay Noel, Geoff Noel, and Brandon Noel; as well as a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Her parents, sisters & brother, husband John Noel, and son Charles Noel preceded her in death.
Dorothy's love for her religion and for her relationships with people shined through with remarkable spirit every day and are to be admired by all that were fortunate enough to know her.
A very special thank you to Louvenia Hendricks, one of her most special of friends and closest of confidants. As well as all of our friends, church members, relatives, pastors, and Madison County Memorial Hospital Staff for all of your kind hospitality, words of wisdom, and helping hands.
Graveside service will be held at Mt. Horeb Cemetery, in Pinetta, FL on Monday, March 27th, 2017 at 10:00 a.m.
