Edmund W. Kowalski, 89, passed away very peacefully, Monday, December 17, 2012 at his home in Tallahassee.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM, Thursday, December 20, 2012, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Tallahassee.
He was a registered Architect in Wisconsin and Florida. Edmund retired in 1993 from Clemons Rutherford And Associates Inc. He was a member of A.I.A. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point with a Bachelor of Science Degree and the University of Michigan with a Bachelor's Degree in Architect. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps. He was a member of Good shepherd Catholic Church since 1983.
He loved working with wood, and contributed his skills and talents creating items for the church. One of his favorite things to do was travel, especially to the Smokey Mountains. In his travels he enjoyed the workmanship and attention to details in the many cathedrals he visited.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Pat; three sons, James (Ella), Paul (Jo) and Mike (Pamela); seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Evelyn Kolinski Kowalski.
In lieu of flowers memorial Contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Catholic Church or Big Bend Hospice.
