June Strickland Bloss died Sunday, September 18, 2011. June was a long time resident of Tallahassee. She was born in Hinton, West Virginia on 11-26-1928. She graduated from Huntington High School in West Virginia and from Webber College in Florida. June was an elder in the Presbyterian Church and a member of Hope Evangelical Presbyterian in Tallahassee, FL. She was a proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
She is survived by her sons Richard Strickland Jr. of San Diego, CA, Patrick Strickland of Searcy, AR., and Paul Strickland of Tallahassee, FL. She also leaves 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at Hope Evangelical Presbyterian Church: 4680 Thomasville Road
