
Gillun C. Davis, III, 54, of Tallahassee passed away suddenly on Sunday 4/17. A native of Miami, he came to Tallahassee in 1971. Gill was a safe tech for Davis Safe and Lock Inc where he was a member of SAVTA (Safe and Vault Tech Association). He was a certified instructor and 2nd Degree Black Belt at Kenpo Karate and Kickboxing Center. He enjoyed hiking, mountain biking, reading and working in his garden. He also enjoyed listening to music and playing his guitar. He loved spending as much time as he could with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his mother: Bonnie Brinson Davis; maternal grandparents: Clifford and Thelma Brinson; paternal grandparents: Gillun C., Sr. and Lillie Davis; survivors include his wife: Pamela; children: Jonathan Corey of Hosford, FL, Benjamin Craig (Sharon) of Tallahassee, Victoria Josephine of Tallahassee; father: Gillun C. (Bobbi), Jr of Tallahassee; brothers: Dan (Rhonda) of Tallahassee, David (Shannon) of Tallahassee; sister: April (Ben) Butler of Lorida; grandchildren: Jonathan Connor, Tucker Layne, Raylan James Long; seven nieces and nephews.
