

The visitation will be at Culley’s Funeral home on Timberlane Road in Tallahassee on Wednesday, April 5th from 5:00-7:00pm. The service will be on Thursday, April 6th, 2017 at First Baptist Church of Tallahassee at 10:00am. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery following the service. The family will receive friends immediately after the burial at the home of his daughter Kandi Winters.
Glen Hicks, graduated from University of Georgia with a Pharmacy Degree. He moved back to Tallahassee and worked at Hicks and Bennett’s Drug Stores. He met his wife Ann at the Centennial Park softball field in 1953. They married in 1954 and moved to Central Florida. There Glen, Ann and their children were members of the First Baptist Church of Winter Haven. Glen was a pharmacist at Walgreens for 40 years. In 1977, Glen and family moved back to Tallahassee were he continued his work with Walgreens. Glen and his family were active members of First Baptist Church of Tallahassee and he continued to serve as a Deacon and was the Chairman of the Deacons in 2008.
Later in life after the death of Ann, Glen married Clyde Fenn.
Glen is survived by his current wife, Clyde Fenn Hicks, a son Glen Hicks, Jr. and wife Robin of Zebulon, N. C., their children Jeremy and LeAnn; and a daughter Kandi Hicks Winters and husband Donald Winters of Tallahassee and their children Travis Brock, Bonnie Brock Wood and her husband Col. Josh Wood and great grandchildren, Grace Ann, Samuel and Noah Wood, Matthew Winters and wife Jessa and their children Helen Ann and Dillion, and Meghan Winters Of Atlanta Georgia.
