He graduated from Indiana University with a B.S. in statistics and from West Coast University with a M.S. in Computer Science. Glen married Joyce Corinne Trimble on November 20, 1965, and they raised four children. Glen served in the Army during the Vietnam war. Professionally, Glen was a pioneer in the earliest days of computer programming, when the mainframe filled a room and was fed by boxes of punch cards. Always a “numbers” man, Glen would frequently cite statics and run models just for fun. Most evenings, Glen could be found crunching numbers at the kitchen table. Personally, Glen was a family man and his priority was always caring for and providing for his wife and children. He loved politics and football. He enjoyed nothing better than spending time on the beach with his family. Glen passed away on February 23, 2021, in Tallahassee, Florida.
He is survived by his four children, Amy Hoover, Forest Hoover, Renee Paradise (Tony), and Miki Presley (Matt); six grandchildren, Nicholas Presley, Mina Malovrh (Ryan), Karina Biwer (Mike), Meagan Presley, Bailey Hoover, and Tristan Hoover; and many loving family members. He is preceded in death by his wife of fifty years, Joyce Corinne Trimble Hoover; and his daughter-in-law, Paty Hoover.
