

Grady Bullington was born on July 4, 1934 in Ashburn, Ga to Aaron Bullington Sr. & Ola Mae Bullington. He was the last surviving sibling of 5 children. He served in the Army during the Korean War and went on to attend Valdosta State University and Florida State University. He met his wife, Martha Ann Peterman in Pelham, Ga and they married on December 26,1957 in Cairo, Ga. Together, he and Martha Ann moved to Tallahassee in 1958 where they resided until 1969 before relocating to Augusta, Ga to take a position with Marbut Company.
In 1979, the family moved back to Tallahassee where in 1981 Grady went on to become Branch Manager of Engineering & Equipment Company until retiring in 2016. He loved his profession, colleagues and the business relationships he developed. Grady practiced high values while expecting your best effort.
Grady enjoyed attending FSU football games with friends & family, traveling, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was an avid college sports fan, loved the Noles but his passion was for the Dawgs. He enjoyed the annual road trip to attend NASCAR races with friends in his younger days.
Grady was preceded in death by his wife Martha, his parents Aaron Bullington, Sr. & Ola Mae Bullington of Cairo, GA, siblings, sister Elouise Jurek of Frankfort Kentucky, brother Eugene Bullington of Albany, Ga, sister Lorene Walker and brother Aaron Bullington, Jr. of Cairo, Ga, and his beautiful granddaughter, Alexis V. Overstreet of Tallahassee, FL.
He leaves behind 3 children, Darryl K. Bullington (Bobbi Jo), Karen B. Chason (Randall) and Teresa B. Barrs (James), 6 grandchildren, Lauren Gann, Buddy Barrs (Tammy), Mason Bullington (Krystine), Carson Bullington, Walker Bullington and Brandon Chason; 9 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Culley’s MeadowWood Funeral Home Timberlane Road Chapel on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm. Services will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at Celebration Baptist Church at 2:00 pm with burial at Culley’s MeadowWood Memorial Park.
