He was born to the late Harold French and Elizabeth Lawson Cullen on May 8, 1931. He was preceded in death by his wife Peggy Smith Cullen.
He is survived by his family who will miss him greatly. They include his son and daughter-in-law Mickey and Alice Cullen, his daughter Carol Steinert, his daughters Pam Forbes and Karen Panter and his son Tom Marriott, a brother JamesCullen and his wife Donell of White Cypress, MS. He is also survived by his grandchildren Meg Cullen Willerer and her husband Max, Will Cullen, Brian Steinert and his wife Ashley, Eric Steinert, Shannon Steinert, Whitney Panter Maddox and her husband Grant, Kari Panter, Bob Forbes, and John Forbes. He is also survived by two great grandchildren Lilliana Steinert and Lawson Willerer.
He was passionate about golf, cards, and Alabama football; he was affectionately known to many as "Coach" He would like all to know how much he loved his kids, grand kids, great grand kids, and daughter-in-law.
