

Hong-gyu Henry Patrick Youn, age 25, passed away early Tuesday morning on October 7, 2014 in Tallahassee, Florida. Born in Tallahassee on December 19, 1988, he is survived by his loving parents, Hwa-Jung and Chun-Hee Youn; siblings, Paul and Aarum; sister-in-law, Ruth; niece, Mackenzie; and friends.
Henry was a graduate of Lincoln High School where he was involved with a variety of extra-curricular activities including Mu-Alpha-Theta, Latin Club and intramural soccer. Passionate about music, his hands graced the guitar, saxophone and piano. With a love for adventure he traveled all across the United States and as far as South Korea. Henry was also an avid reader which always encouraged his imagination and life. Most importantly, Henry's perseverance in life was flawless. He always approached challenges with a smile and had the ability to encourage others around him to do the same. Throughout his life he made deep connections with everyone he met, and filled every room he stepped in with laughter.
As a son, Henry was loyal, obedient, and a listener. As a brother, he was genuine and sincere. He complemented his siblings well and brought out the best in them. Henry was a friend to everyone, he charisma echoed his heart, his passion reflected on others, and his spirit was never ending. To Henry, his family was the most important, so he made all that was important to him his family.
Although his body has left us to rest peacefully in heaven, his spirit and life is forever continuing through all who loved him and had the honor of knowing him. While we live, he shall not die.
