Jack Don Taliaferro, Sr. 87 of Naples, FL passed away on February 6, 2023. He was born August 7, 1935 in Arlington, GA to the late Lester Harden Taliaferro, Sr and Lola Lee Taliaferro. He was preceded in death by his 8 brothers: Coy, Hugh, Ray, Ferrell, Charley, Neal, Bobby and Lester, Jr Taliaferro.
Jack is survived by his 2 children: Jack Don Taliaferro, Jr. (Debi) of Naples, FL and Tammy Taliaferro Galloway of Ooltewah, TN. He has 4 grandchildren: Dr. Garrett Galloway (Kira) of Hillsborough NC, Dr. Tiffany Persons (Chris) of Ooltewah, TN, Devin Taliaferro and Jordan Taliaferro of Naples, FL. Jack also has 5 Great-grandchildren (and another due in July): Clarra, Amelia, Freya, and Graham Galloway of Hillsborough, NC, Beckett and baby girl Persons of Ooltewah, TN.
Jack lived in Tallahassee, FL for nearly 60 years. He retired from 40 years in the automotive industry starting at Kinnebrew Motors and ending with Capital Eurocars. He was a silver FSU Seminole Booster as well as an avid gardener and enjoyed collecting Matchbox cars. He has spent the last four years in Naples, FL.
